Big news at Etalon! Thanks to all of our loyal customers who have shared their Etalon experiences and provided us with some valuable feedback, we are so excited to unveil the Etalon Posture Bra 2.0.

With this new upgrade, we have taken into account your suggestions and concerns. We noticed an overwhelming desire for lighter fabric, greater support, and a larger selection of sizes. We began researching better options for materials and experimenting with various designs to fulfill your needs and wants for a more comfortable, effective posture bra. 

While most of the changes may seem small, they come with big benefits. Keep reading to learn more about all of our posture bra improvements.

Review of the Etalon Posture Bra

After several years of dreaming and designing, founder Kristina Rudzinskaya and the Etalon team launched the original Etalon Posture Bra at the end of 2022. Since, we’ve had an overwhelming positive response to our product, including shout-outs in publications like WIRED and NBC News and awards from Globee and San Francisco Design Week. But mostly we’ve been listening to our customers.

We hear you all! And we think you’ll be happy with our Etalon Posture Bra 2.0 updates, which include a new color, sizing for fuller busts, and other much-requested enhancements.

Overview of the Etalon Posture Bra 2.0

A major feature of the original Etalon Posture Bra is its customizable design. The centerpiece in the back — where “the magic happens,” according to Kristina — holds together the six adjustable straps. These straps help provide support by engaging the upper back postural muscles and drawing the shoulder blades together. Over time, this small correction helps to promote better alignment and muscle memory.

The Etalon Posture Bra 2.0 works similarly, but with lighter fabric and a sleeker design that allows for a more intense pull from the straps and an easier way to adjust the straps.

Design Improvements & Technological Upgrades for Better Posture Support

We put a lot of attention into the posture bra’s straps, including their look, intensity, and adjustability.

• The Look. Compared to the first Etalon bra, the 2.0 version features narrower straps for a more elegant silhouette. Any extra bulk around the shoulders and bust has been eliminated.
• The Intensity. The straps are now placed at a slightly more dramatic angle that helps provide a more intense pull. You will feel the bra working more to draw your shoulder blades back and open your chest. 
• The Adjustability. We made the slits that attach the straps to the centerpiece a little wider to make it easier to take the hooks in and out and adjust the straps to your comfort level.
• More Sizes!

The heavier the breasts, the more that gravity pulls you forward. We wanted to make sure we were representing a wider range of body sizes. We now have two distinct posture bra types in sizes XS to 3XL:

• Etalon 2.0. For A-D cup sizes
• Etalon 2.0 Full Bust. For E-H cup sizes

Comfort and Wearability Enhancements

Since you get the most effective results from wearing a posture bra regularly, comfort is crucial. We’ve made some small but significant changes in our fabric and overall look. 

Lighter Fabric for Better Movement

The weight and feel of Etalon’s material was one of the bigger concerns for our customers in hotter climates and for those who like to do high-intensity workouts. 

This took some trial and error as we had to find fabric that was light but also durable enough to sustain the posture-promoting pull. Fortunately, we found a sustainable, Global Recycled Standard-certified solution that:

• Offers four-way stretch to accommodate for freedom of movement and normal body fluctuations
• Withstands any type of physical activity
• Is antimicrobial
• Is made of 81% recycled polyester and 19% spandex

We’ve also made a slight tweak to the zipper, which makes for a sleeker look at the bust.

Cups vs. No Cups

We considered another area for customization, too: cups or no cups. Some of you prefer them, some of you don’t. To satisfy all, we’ve introduced pockets on the inner side that allow you to insert bra cups, which can help make for a smoother look around the breasts.

A New Color!

While we love the traditional black, many of you requested an option for white. The Etalon Posture Bra 2.0 is now available in black or white (or both, with our Etalon Posture Bra 2.0 X 2 bundle option).

Selecting the Right Etalon Posture Bra

Choosing the right Etalon Posture Bra starts with the correct sizing. If your bra is too tight or too loose, it won’t be comfortable and it won’t do its job.

First, grab a measuring tape and measure your rib cage and bust. For the Etalon Posture Bra 2.0, subtract your rib cage measurement from your bust measurement to find your correct cup size. Next, take a look at our posture bra sizing guide. The number refers to your rib cage measurement and the letter your cup size. For example, if you have a 36” rib cage circumference and a G cup, you will likely fit best in the Etalon 2.0 Full Bust in size large. 

If your ideal fit is between sizes, we recommend sizing down for a more compressive fit.

No matter your Etalon Bra version, there are no differences when it comes to the care and maintenance. It should be washed at a cold temperature and put in a low-tumble dry. Even better, hang dry the bra to protect the fabric — and the planet!
